Welcome to all readers to Cambridge Training Centre.

Cambridge Training Centre (CTC) was set up in the year 2001 in line with the need to upgrade the standard of English, with the main objective of providing excellent services in the English Language Skills. It has evolved to be a well- accepted English centre for students and parents. Since its inception, CTC has been well responded to, due to the quality of teaching and training, supporting the students for productive outcome.

CTC offers courses in English for students of all ages starting from 6 years old as well as the working adults.

ABOUT

CTC offers the full range of the Cambridge English Programmes, from the Young Learners English leading up to the highest level, the Cambridge English Proficiency better known in short as the CPE.

To conduct these programmes, CTC can boast of having many quality, experienced and committed teachers/tutors to provide the best to students and are very results oriented. Their friendly, interactive and effective methods of teaching has led many a student to achieve excellent results in all levels of their UK based tests. Obtaining full shields in the YLE and disctinctions and As in the main suite tests is what both students and teachers can take pride in.

CTC also further spreads its wings to provide its services by conducting seminars on public speaking and presentation skills and various other soft skills training to organizations.This helps to enhance the confidence and image of an organization to increase the esteem of the staff.

How do we do it?
Our methodology of teaching and training is based on participation and creativity. We conduct group or one-on-one sessions where the emphasis is on the writing and speaking skills. Our classes only hold between 10 to 15 students per session.

COURSES

Young Learners English (YLE)

There are three levels of the Cambridge Young Learners English for children aged between 7 and 12. These are Starters, Movers, and Flyers and are specially designed so that children can learn in a progressive way. They start by learning simple words and phrases for Starters, then progress to using extended and more challenging language in Movers and Flyers.

Cambridge English: Key (KET)

Cambridge English: Key (KET) is the first main suite level of Cambridge English in Cambridge English Language Assessment (CELA). KET enables candidates to demonstrate a general level of proficiency in English. KET is designed to ensure that it reflects the use of language in real life. It also corresponds closely to an active and communicative approach to learning English, without neglecting the need for clarity and accuracy.

Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET)

PET is the second level of the Cambridge exams in Cambridge English Language Assessment (CELA). This qualification shows that you have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use.


Cambridge English: First

(FCE)

FCE is the third level of the Cambridge exams in Cambridge English Language Assessment (CELA). It recognises the ability to deal confidently with a range of written and spoken communication.


Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)

CAE is the fourth level of the Cambridge English in Cambridge English Language Assessment (CELA). It is an advanced exam, set at Level C1 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework for modern languages.

Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE)

Cambridge English Proficiency also known as The Cambridge Proficiency in English or CPE for short is at Cambridge Level 5 which is the highest level or 2 under The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

At this stage you would have mastered English at a very high level and be able to communicate with the fluency, accuracy and sophistication of a highly competent English Speaker

My overall experience with Cambridge Training Center (CTC) was exceptional. Teachers from CTC are experienced, approachable and dedicated in teaching.
